L'Oasis, a magnificent new villa at the west end of Baie Rouge Beach, was completed during the summer of 2000. Moroccan inspired in its design and furnishings, this secluded and gated beachfront estate offers total privacy. Entrance is via a dramatic domed entrance courtyard with fountain.
The many amenities at this fabulous property include a fully equipped air conditioned media room with satellite wide screen TV, VCR, Stereo CD, DVD and comfortable built-in seating with mounds of pillows. The living room is furnished with a mixture of Moroccan, Indonesian and custom-made wicker furniture and original artwork. There is a full sound system, a ceiling fan and a bar with refrigerator and ice maker. Each of the bedrooms has its own safe, telephone, intercom, TV, VCR, mosquito nets and hair dryer. For those who like to stay in shape, there is an air conditioned gym with a universal weight machine, a tread mill, plasma TV and a complete bathroom and massage room. WiFi internet connection is available at the property.
When it comes to swimming, guests can choose from a dip in the sea, or either of the two swimming pools. The main pool by the house is surrounded by a very large deck, furnished with sun loungers and table and chairs for poolside dining. The other pool is by the beach pavilion and features built-in chairs, sun umbrellas and a cocktail table in the shallow end. There is a commercial outdoor barbecue at the property. A French chef to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in the basic price (food is extra).
