This magical and stylishly renovated old stone mill is loaded with charm. It is situated on two acres of land on the south-east side of the island, near the Golden Rock Hotel, which has a very good restaurant serving delicious West Indian food. The nearest beach is just a five minute drive.
From its position on the side of Mt. Nevis, it benefits from cooling sea breezes and wonderful views over the Atlantic ocean. The building was originally an 18th century working, wind-powered mill for pressing sugar cane, and has now been tastefully converted into a 3-bedroom home with swimming pool and a gingerbread gazebo.
The accommodation is arranged over four levels, with the living area on the main floor opening to a large wrap-around terrace with sailcloth awnings. Here there is an outdoor dining area, from where the views of Mt. Nevis and the ocean can be enjoyed. Amenities include ceiling fans, TV/VCR, stereo with tape/CD player and laundry room. There is no cable TV and the owner prefers not to have children under the age of 13 years.
