The lively island of Jamaica is one of the largest in the Caribbean, and with its incredibly varied and luxuriant landscape, is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful. Its Blue Mountain range, cloaked with verdant foliage, extends from one side of the island to the other, there are vast expanses of white sand beaches lined with palm trees, secluded rocky coves, rushing rivers and an abundance of different varieties of tropical flowers. Together with its colourful reggae tradition and excellent sporting facilities, and a very high standard of hotel and villa accommodation, Jamaica is justifiably a popular holiday destination.

Many of the best villas are situated just to the west of Montego Bay, on the north-west coast of the island. One of these is the Round Hill Resort, a 100 acre peninsula overlooking a private beach and Round Hill Bay, about 12 kms west of Montego Bay. The resort comprises 29 individually owned villas with 74 villa and hotel suites surrounded by 30 acres of gardens. When the owners are not in residence the cottages are available for rent either as individual suites or complete two, three or four bedroom cottages with or without pool. As well as its international airport, Montego Bay offers a lively night life, beaches and shopping. The beautiful beaches of Negril are about one hour’s drive to the west and Ocho Rios (with world famous Dunn’s River Falls) is a 90 minute drive to the east.
