The property was formerly owned by Averil and Pamela Harriman and has been described as one of the most beautiful houses on Barbados. Swimming is not possible directly in front of house as there is a small reef but excellent swimming to the south or north of property. Conveniently located between Holetown and Speightstown, the Royal Westmoreland Golf and Country Club just a ten minute drive away.
Built in natural coral stone, there is a fountain at the impressive main entrance. The living areas open to terraces, furnished for relaxing and dining outdoors. A pathway leads to a charming dining pagoda by the sea, which seats up to 14 people. There is also a small gazebo with built in dining table suitable for serving children's meals overlooking the pool the swimming pool (31’ x 15’).
The accommodation is in the main house and in a cottage within the garden. The master suite with en-suite marble bathroom has twin beds, air conditioning, and two telephone lines. There are three additional bedrooms with twin beds in the main house, all with bathrooms with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. A single bedroom is also available in the main wing. The cottage has two air conditioned twin bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms, as well as its own terrace overlooking the gardens and the sea. The cottage has its own car park and entrance to main road. All the bedrooms, except the single room, can be made up as twins or double beds. Further amenities include satellite TV, VCR, CD player, fax machine, ceiling fans, hair dryers and a safe in each bedroom.
