Finca Maridadi is situated in a peaceful, rural location, just five minutes north of Ronda. There are spectacular views of the Sierras de Ronda to one side and pretty farmland to the other. The area is rich in history and local sights include the Puente Nuovo in Ronda, an 18th century bridge spanning the vertiginous gorge which links the old and new towns. The Pueblos Blancos, traditional Andalucian white-washed hillside villages, are also situated within a short driving distance, while Seville and Jerez can both be reached within an hour and a half. The only possible disturbance here could be the very infrequent service from the small gauge railway line which runs close by, but we have never had a complaint about this! Horse riding can be arranged nearby.
The estate is set within 3 ½ acres of grounds and comprises three charming villas, each self-contained with its own private fenced-in garden with swimming pool. La Finca is the largest and accommodates up to 10 guests. Los Olivos accommodates 6 people and La Cancela, 4 people. They can be rented separately or together for larger groups of up to 20 people. La Finca is only available from mid June until mid September. Between October and the end of March Los Olivos and La Cancela can be rented for a minimum rental period of 3 nights.
All the villas are comfortably furnished and all have overhead fans for summer use. Los Olivos also has open fireplaces and electric heating and is equipped with TV, VCR/DVD, music system and wi-fi internet access. There is also an extensive video/DVD library which guests are welcome to use. The accommodation is all on one level with the large open-plan kitchen/dining room/living room opening via French doors to a terrace. The large garden has a swimming pool (5 x 10m and 1.4m deep, Roman steps access), a covered poolside terrace for dining outdoors, with barbecue, and a boules court.
