Finca Lavanda is a beautiful Finca situated in the mountains of Soller, on the northern coast of the island. Restored to a high standard, the Finca is over a hundred years old and has breath-taking views, overlooking the entire valley, with the mountains to the right and the
picturesque village and the sea in the distance. The property benefits from being within walking distance of Soller (just 7 minutes walk from the central square), yet enjoying a peaceful and quiet countryside location. The charming old town of Soller is a hive of activity in summer, its village square bordered with cafes, restaurants, food shops and traditional markets. Because of its unique position between the dramatic Tramuntana mountains and the sea, the area offers a wide range of outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain-biking to hidden mountain-top villages, or scenic drives to Puerto Soller, the nearby idyllic fishing port, as well as the beautiful village of Deia, famous for bars and beach restaurants.
The house is surrounded by a 10.000 m2 terraced garden with orange groves, lemon trees, pine, almonds, figs, olive and palm trees. There is also a large swimming pool and various terraces for dining or sunbathing, all of which benefit from the spectacular views. The saline-based pool (15x7m) is completely new, with turquoise tiles and bordered with lavender and pink English roses. Adjacent to the pool is a terrace with a large dining table overlooking the whole valley and sea in the distance.
The spacious interiors (600m2) combine traditional elegance with modern comforts. The rooms have been refurbished over the years with great attention to artistic detail. With its Gaudi-inspired floor tiles, antique windows and mirrors imported from France, and the turn of the century architecture,the house has a romantic ambience, reminiscent of the Belle Epoque. Amenities include HD satellite TVs, DVDs, Bose stereo system (in house and by the pool), with i-Pod dock, and wi-fi internet access. The house owns a traditional Mallorcan motor boat (Llaut) which can be hired together with a skipper (€100 per half day). The boat fits up to 12 people and is ideal for day trips along the beautiful coast, perfect for diving, swimming, fishing or visits to neighbouring villages and hide-away beach restaurants. Please note that access to this villa is by quite a steep road, so a 4-wheel drive car is recommended.

separate garden with mountain views. Modern en-suite bathroom with views to the sea. This bedroom has direct access to pool area and open-air lounge with Bose stereo system with i-Pod dock and fridge. The pool house has underfloor heating and a fan.
