Casa Limones is situated just outside the town of Sóller, at the foot of the Sierra de Tramontana mountain range, in an area also known as the ‘Valle de los Naranjos’ for its orange and lemon groves. The property is set in 60,000 square metres of grounds, 10,000 of which are planted with orange and lemon trees which surround the house. As well as being an ideal place for relaxing, the location is also perfect for walking or bike rides. You can also explore the northwest coast of the island by boat (boats can be rented with or without a skipper) or take advantage of the water sports at Puerto de Sóller. The centre of Sóller is also worth a visit for its Modernist architecture and lively main square. One such building is the ‘Finca Gourmet’ which specializes in local homemade produce, and there is also a Saturday morning market. There are also other picturesque villages to explore, such as Fornalutx, Deià and Valldemossa.
Outside the house there is an undercover patio and two spacious furnished terraces, ideal for relaxing or dining outdoors. The swimming pool (10 x 5m) is surrounded by lavender and fruit trees and has fabulous views of the mountains.
Recently restored, much of the original character of the house has been retained, such as stone slab floors, wood beamed ceilings and a huge fireplace. The décor is simple with pale colours, wooden furniture and tasteful furnishings. All rooms and staircases lead off the spacious double vaulted entrance. The six bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms and are well equipped with central heating, air conditioning, satellite television, safe, hairdryer and bathrobes.

Bedrooms are cleaned every Wednesday, including a change of bed linen. The communal areas of the house are cleaned on a daily basis (except Sundays and Public Holidays). If guests would like their rooms cleaned on a daily basis, dishes washed etc., the maid is available at the rate of €10 per hour. This must be organized in advance of guests’ arrival. |
