These beautifully restored one bedroom apartments are situated in a building in the heart of the old quarter, now the trendiest neighbourhood in Barcelona. Just a short walk away is the 14th century ‘Santa Maria del Mar’ church, the Paseo del Born with its many fashion boutiques and, a little further, the Picasso Museum and the famous ‘Parc de la Ciutadella’. The building is also 15 minutes walk from ‘Las Ramblas’ and also 10 minutes walk from the ancient fishermen’s quarter of ‘La Barceloneta’, close to the seafront.
Dating from 1798, the building has recently been refurbished throughout, including the installation of a lift. Each apartment has been equipped with air conditioning, Internet ADSL connection, satellite television, DVD and stereo system. Some also have a washing machine. At the same time, the authenticity of the old building has been respected by restoration of the colours and drawings of the façade, the entrance doors to the apartments and the old wooden ceiling beams and exposed stone walls.
The apartments have all been decorated and furnished in the same style and the photos shown are examples of the interiors. The rooms are filled with warm natural light through the large windows, some with small balconies. All guests have access to the terrace on the roof of the building to enjoy the sunshine and the views of Barcelona. For larger groups, several apartments can be rented. Minimum stay here is three nights.
