This very light and spacious villa is situated close to the ancient Moorish castle town of Silves, which has several food shops, banks and restaurants. It also hosts a number of different festivals throughout the summer. There are several beaches and golf courses within a short drive.
The villa is set in private 40 acre grounds planted with avocados and citrus trees. A natural stone wall surrounds the house, garden and swimming pool (15 x 7m, and can be heated on request, at extra cost) with outdoor shower and a barbecue area. At the rear of the property is a tennis court (tennis equipment not provided) and a shaded games area (table tennis and table football), as well as parking for several cars.
The interior is modern and comfortable, with mosquito netting on all windows. The bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms, chestnut wood floors and are fitted with air conditioning units and underfloor heating (included in the rental). The other rooms have terracotta tiled floors and the large living and dining rooms have french windows which open to a covered terrace furnished for dining outdoors. Amenities include satellite TV, DVD and CD player, and there is a baby cot and highchair available on request.
