Rockmoore House is a very large eight-bedroom log house situated South of Jackson. It is a sumptuous retreat for friends, families and horses alike. It also has a two-bedroom guesthouse and exceptional stables rest on more than twenty acres of beautiful nature. The floors, the walls, the vaulted, beamed ceilings are all of warm, burnished wood which create a comfortable and welcoming ambiance.
There is a spacious and modern gourmet kitchen, which is a delight to cook in with a big Viking range and two sinks. On the stone patio there is a large stone fireplace and a gas grill, and the outdoor dining area has breathtaking views of the sunset.
Wide, leather couches face a tall stone fireplace in the Great Room, off to the side is a four-foot TV and state of the art sound system. The eight bedrooms are large with high peaked ceilings and lots of windows.
The guesthouse is a private and quiet space situated down a short path from the main house. It has its own kitchen, living room, bath and two bedrooms. A clear, pebbly creek runs along outside the windows, winding around to the front of Rockmoore House.
The house is surrounded on three sides by grassy pastures and a groomed polo field. There is room to ride, trails to walk, and the tumbling stream to wade or fish in. The hot tub, in its own private spot on the stone patio is the perfect spot to watch the stars reel by.
Totally private, with stunning views of the mountains, the Rockmoore House is still only ten minutes from Jackson Hole.
