This very spacious family property is situated in peaceful surroundings on the Ilot Fortier peninsula on the west coast of the island, between Black River and La Gaulette. There is direct access to the sea from the property, and magnificent views to Le Morne Mountain. The Black River Gorge is the largest national park on Mauritius and is good for hiking either individually or with a qualified guide. Le Paradis Hotel, with 18-hole golf course is a 10 minute drive away.
Set in a large garden, stretching down to the beach, the property also has a swimming pool, surrounded by a furnished sun deck, overlooking the sea, and with a gazebo for shade. Beach towels are provided. A covered terrace at the front of the house has a sitting area and outdoor dining area and barbecue.
The accommodation consists of a main house and a small guest house with a bedroom and bathroom. The rooms are well furnished and equipped, including satellite TV, DVD, hi-fi stereo system and safe. There is a fan in the living room and the bedrooms have air conditioning. Internet connection available on request.
