This exceptional property is situated close to the very pretty Umbrian hill town of Todi. The location is ideal for visiting the historical and artistic cities of central Italy, as well as the many Etruscan settlements in the area. From its hilltop position, the villa has wonderful panoramic views over the surrounding valleys and hills.
The property is accessed by an unsealed road and an electronic wrought iron gate opening to a driveway leading down to the front of the villa. The façade of the villa is in local stone, with a tower on one side painted in a pale pink colour. There is covered car parking to one side of the house. Entirely fenced in for privacy, the beautiful and well maintained gardens are comprised of lawns, hedges and colourful flower beds. In the garden to the rear of the house is a swimming pool (10 x 5m), with blue tiles, and surrounding sun terrace. Next to this is a trellised pavilion providing shade.
The living areas on the garden level open to the large covered terraces which surround the house, furnished for dining outdoors or for sitting, relaxing and enjoying the views. The rooms are decorated in whites, blues and yellows and exquisitely furnished with a large collection of antiques and paintings. Most of the ceilings have the original exposed wooden beams and the floors are of handmade cotto set in traditional designs. All the bedrooms, except the master suite, have ceiling fans and all have mosquito screens. The bathrooms all have bathrobes, and linen is changed twice weekly.
