The Coselli Collection is a family run estate, situated ten kilometres south of Lucca, with magnificent views over hill terraced olive groves. The six villas available to rent here offer the highest levels of luxury, comfort and services as individual rentals for holidays for families or groups of friends, or if rented together, they are equally suitable accommodation for conferences, incentive and other programmes. The estate is also the home of the renowned Tuscan cooking school, The Coselli School of Cuisine. During the summer months, resident guests can join chefs in the kitchen for personalised one-day cooking lessons. The rest of the year is dedicated to 6 day, 4 day and weekend courses where you are immersed in discovering the tastes and textures of some of the finest Italian cooking through traditional recipes handed down through generations. Professional chefs and service staff can also be booked for meals in the privacy of your own villa. Further enticing food related activities include wine and cheese tasting at your villa, and wine and olive oil tasting at the Enoteca Vanni wine cellars in Lucca. Trips can also be arranged to visit the vineyards around Lucca, or further afield, in Chianti.
An on-site chauffeur is available for transfers, or for personalized sightseeing and shopping itineraries. Golf can be arranged at one of several golf courses within a 40 minute drive of the estate, and there is a private tennis club just a 5 minute drive away. Horse riding is available at nearby stables and bicycles can also be rented. For those who want to visit the beach, Coselli is a member of one of the most exclusive beach clubs at the well known resort of Forte dei Marmi. Other activities which can be arranged on site include helicopter tours or hot air ballooning, or for the less active, massages and beauty treatments, in the privacy of your villa or at a local beauty centre in the spa town of Montecatini. Children are well catered for too with plenty of toys and games, a children’s entertainer and a babysitting service.
The six properties are all spacious and elegantly furnished, with similar standard bedrooms throughout, all with modern, en-suite bathrooms. All have heating and air conditioning, satellite TVs, DVDs and wi-fi internet connection.
This charming Il Frantoio was originally an olive press used by the villagers of Vorno, the small village close to the property. Within the garden is a swimming pool, floodlit at night, as well as tables, chairs and a barbecue for outdoor dining.
