Situated on the southern Tuscan coast, this striking historical watch tower, is approximately 30 kilometres from both Grosseto and Porto Ercole. From its terraces there are magnificent sea views, to Porto S. Stefano and the hills of Monte Argentario on one side, and Talamone, with its charming walled town, and the hills of th Uccellina Natural Park on the other. There are also spectacular views of the islands of Giannutri, Giglio and to Montecristo, which houses a famous marine park.
The interiors have been renovated throughout to provide spacious and luxurious accommodation for up to eight people. The very large living room on the first floor opens to an expansive terrace, with outdoor dining area and a seating area, furnished with deck chairs. There are fantastic 180 degree views from here over the coast, sea and islands. Another terrace at ground floor level, amongst the greenery of the garden, is furnished with deck chairs and also has panoramic views. This is a great place to sit at sunset with a glass of wine, have a barbecue dinner, or relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi. The property also has a walking trail with steps leading directly down to the sea and its own private sunbathing deck, and a boat dock for private boats.
Amenities at the property include satellite TV, telephone and internet access. The very comfortably furnished living room also has another dining area with antique wooden table and chairs for 8 people. This room has air conditioning. There are mosquito nets on every window and every bedroom has ceiling fans. A 42’ motorboat is available for daily excursions upon request. Because of the terraces and steps leading down to the sea, it is not a particularly suitable property for very young children.
