La Flora is a huge farmhouse situated just 6 kms from the walled town of Lucca, in a quiet setting inside the "Nottolini Park" .The area takes its name from the famous architect who built the neoclassical monumental aqueduct which runs along the boundary of the estate, and is popular with those who like walking and jogging.
The interiors have recently been totally renovated throughout to a very high standard. The result is a property restored in total respect of Tuscan traditions, with beamed ceilings, antique cotto floors and walls painted in ‘washed-effect’. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is an impressive combination of high tech with Bulthaup appliances, and a traditional Aga cooker. Other amenities include internet connection (DSL), satellite TV, central heating, barbeque, a speaker for ipods and a dvd player.
