Casa Ida is a delightful small, newly converted house set on the side of a hill surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The views over the countryside stretch from San Gimignano to the Chianti Fiorentino. The town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa is just 1.5 kms away, with shops and restaurants, as well as being on a bus route to Florence (30 kms) and Siena (35 kms). The central location of this property makes it easy to reach many of the places of artistic and historical interest in Tuscany.
The house is surrounded by one hectare of land, where the owners cultivate vines, olives and fruit trees. They live in a separate house with independent access about 50 metres away and share the swimming pool. They speak English and very unobtrusive, but willing to assist guests with advice if required. They also sell their wine and olive oil. The large swimming pool (13 x 6m) is situated on a raised plateau between the two properties, with wonderful views over the countryside. On one side of the pool, near the steps, are four hydro-massage jets. The surrounding terrace is furnished with sun loungers anda there is a brick barbecue, exclusively for guests’ use, to one side.
The house is on two levels with furnished terraces at both levels. The living areas have huge windows, taking advantage of the beautiful views. Comfortably furnished it is ideal for one or two couples or a small family. A baby cot and highchair are available. Electricity, central heating and firewood for the fireplace and barbecue are payable on consumption.

Entrance hall. Guest WC. Open-plan dining room with fireplace and kitchen corner. Kitchen equipment includes gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Glass doors open from the dining area to a balcony with stairs down to the garden. Living room with satellite TV and air conditioning.
Lower Level
Twin bedroom (can be made up as double on request). Double bedroom, opening to rear garden. Bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, shower, basin, bidet and WC. Laundry with washing machine.
