This beautiful farmhouse is located in a very quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate. The fortified hamlet of Volpaia has a restaurant and a food shop, where the estate’s olive oil and wine can be sampled and purchased. Cooking lessons can also be arranged for guests to learn the art of Tuscan cuisine, and an opportunity to visit the wine cellars.
The stone-built farmhouse was completely restored in 2005, maintaining traditional Tuscan features. It is ideal for those seeking a totally relaxing holiday in Chianti, with full-time staff to take care of the house and prepare meals (breakfast and one other meal a day) for guests. The English speaking staff who run the estate office will also be happy to assist guests with any information they require.
Fabulous countryside views can be enjoyed from the covered dining terrace just off the kitchen. This also overlooks the swimming pool (10 x 5m), allowing parents to relax while keeping an eye on the pool area.
