This house is part of a hamlet of traditional old farmhouses, in a beautiful position in the hills north of Lucca. Being detached, Al Castello is completely independent from the other houses here, and also benefits from being south-facing, with magnificent views.
It has been beautifully restored, respecting the ancient character of the original farmhouse, but at the same time adding to the quality and comfort with new furnishings and equipment. An example of this successful combination of old and new is the very well-equipped kitchen, which opens to a terrace, ideal for “al fresco” dining.
Stone steps lead from this terrace down to a very pretty garden, where there is a swimming pool (12 x 6m) in a superb position, taking full advantage of the magnificent views.
