Cottage Villa Bella is situated within a private estate, dating from the end of the 18th Century, near Marsala in the south-west of Sicily. It is the same estate as our property, Villa Bella, and can be rented independently or as extra accommodation for the main villa. The Cottage has its own beautiful large garden and swimming pool (18 x 4m). It is well furnished with family antiques and paintings, yet also has a relaxing and cosy ambience. Amenities include central heating, air conditioning and a television. It is a perfect base for visiting the many attractions this area has to offer. The Segesta Temple and Theatre, as well as the Selinunte archaeological park are about 45 minutes drive away. The Norman village of Erice is a 30 minute drive and the Egadi Islands, offering fine beaches and walks, are one hour by boat. Marsala is famous for its Phoenician remains, as well as its distinctive Marsala wine, and wine tastings can be arranged.
