Villa Bella is a late 18th century property near Marsala in the south-west of Sicily. It is a perfect base for visiting the many attractions this area has to offer. The Segesta Temple and Theatre, as well as the Selinunte archaeological park are about 45 minutes drive away. The Norman village of Erice is a 30 minute drive and the Egadi Islands, offering fine beaches and walks, are one hour by boat. Marsala is famous for its Phoenician remains, as well as its distinctive Marsala wine, and wine tastings can be arranged. The villa is approached by a long driveway lined with palm trees. Surrounding the house is a large Mediterranean garden with swimming pool (18 x 7m). There are several terraces close to the house for dining and relaxing outdoors. The rooms are very elegantly furnished with family antiques and paintings, yet the house has a relaxing and cosy ambience. There is a television, a billiard table and central heating available during the cooler months, at extra charge. Internet access is also available at extra charge. A cook is available 6 days a week and the property can also be rented on a half board or full board basis. For larger parties, the villa can be rented together with the annex, Cottage Villa Bella, which has two bedrooms and also has its own swimming pool (18 x 4m).
