The Rome Apartment Book
Italy
Destination Guide
Our apartments are all centrally located in the heart of historic Rome. Some are close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, while others are closer to Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori and the Pantheon. One is just on the other side of the Tiber River, the Trastevere, one of the oldest and most charming areas of Rome, and benefits from views over the river. Staying an apartment enables you to feel less like a tourist and more like a local. It also gives you the flexibility to eat at home if you feel like it or cater for children’s meal requirements. All our apartments are comfortably furnished and many have air conditioning, satellite TV and internet connection. If requested with enough advance notice, we are able to arrange daily maid service, babysitters and a laundry service. Moreover, our local office is expert in organizing tours to help your discover Rome – whether your interests are cultural, shopping or gourmet restaurants. Personally accompanied walking tours include visits to churches, museums, archaeological sites and private ancient palaces and villas. A ‘Rome by Night’ tour includes drinks ‘in piazza’, dinner and a tour of the city by car. Food and Wine tours introduce you to the best restaurants or arrange lunches or dinners in ancient private houses. On the whole, minimum stay at the apartments is for one week. Where fewer nights are permitted, it is indicated in the property description. Please note that for Sunday arrivals, there is a €50 charge, payable locally to our representative. Rome can be reached easily by scheduled or charter flights from most international airports. If required, we can arrange transfers from either Fiumicino airport or Ciampino, directly to your apartment.
