This ‘masseria’ is a typical farmhouse, totally restored and situated in the Salento countryside near Otranto, and just 2 kilometres from the sea. The surrounding landscape is full of olive trees and natural vegetation, as well as many remains of pre-Christian civilization. The ruins of an ancient pre-Roman settlement called “Roca” is near the property. The beautiful town of Otranto on the sea, is famous for its Kasbah-like, charming historic centre and its Romanic Cathedral with an 11th century mosaic floor. The spectacular Alimini beaches are 6 kilometres away, where sand dunes can be more than 15 metres high. Boat tours to the coves are also available.
Masseria Orsola has a large garden with swimming pool, surrounded by a paved terrace. The pool area is equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers, and there is a large outdoor shower. A furnished pergola area outside the kitchen has a dining table and a stone barbecue, and a summer kitchen. There is private parking space for 4 – 5 cars.
The style and furnishings of the interiors are a mix of Mediterranean minimalist and ethnic, with carefully restored antique pieces. The floors are of local stone from Lecce.

Living/dining area with fireplace. A second beautiful living room. Very well equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher. 2 double bedrooms, each with fireplace and private bathroom. Double bedroom with fireplace and en-suite shower room. The kitchen opens to the courtyard with outdoor dining area and from here there is a staircase to a terrace, accessing a fourth double bedroom with en-suite shower room.
First Floor
2 double bedrooms, one with fireplace. These bedrooms share a bathroom with shower and bath.
A stone laundry room with 2 washing machines is outside.
