Masseria Nardò is an old villa, built around the mid-18th century, and situated on the spectacular Ionian coast, 200 metres from the Porto Selvaggio natural park. The sea is just a 10-minute walk through a pine forest. The villa is approximately 1 kilometre from the centre of Santa Caterina di Nardò (a splendid seaside town). The area is called “Cenate”, and is characterised by lush vegetation and historic Moresque villas, dating back to the 18th century. These historic villas are the old summer residences of noble families of the area and most are still used for this purpose today.
Masseria Nardò is set within 30,000 square metres of parkland with olive trees, fruit trees, a pine forest, a swimming pool, a tennis court, a soccer field, and parking. A wine cellar with selected local and national wines is also available to guests. In the surrounding areas there are riding stables, a scuba diving centre, and the Santa Caterina harbour where boats can be rented for day cruises.
The completely restored property comprises a main building and four independent guest houses, each very well furnished and equipped with air conditioning and a TV. Each has a kitchen area with fridge and oven and there is a separate laundry and a changing room with shower. The main building is accessed by a small courtyard with an impressive door leading to an internal staircase to the first floor. The first floor is normally kept closed and is only available upon special request

Ground Floor
Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (without shower) and independent access onto the courtyard. Twin bedroom. Large living room. Third bedroom with 2 single sofa-beds. Large bathroom with shower. Spacious, well-equipped, traditional kitchen. Dining room, and a pergola outside overlooking the garden, and with barbecue and stone benches (on the opposite side of the square). This garden is shady and well furnished with tables and chairs, to be used as an extension of the living space, for dining outside. Outside laundry facility and a changing room with shower.
2 Type A guesthouses
Each with double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, a living room with kitchen area and a double sofa-bed. These guesthouses have independent entrances through wide glass doors under the pergola.
1 Type B guesthouse
2 double bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and an outdoor pergola with garden furniture. Washing machine.
1 Type C guesthouse
This is situated in a very private position, in a walled garden with orange grove. 2 double/twin bedrooms (one of which has an en-suite bathroom), an extra double bed above the living room, in a loft area, and a double sofa-bed in the living room. Second bathroom with shower. Kitchen area, and outdoor pergola with garden furniture. Washing machine.
