This very special property is wonderful for a group of friends wanting a very special and unique destination. It is situated right on the coast, about 15 minutes walk uphill from Portofino harbour, beyond Castle Brown, on the path to the lighthouse. Perched on an outcrop above the sea, the house is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, and has wonderful views over the Gulf.
Just outside the house is a wonderful terrace shaded by a wisteria, leading to the terraced garden which descends down to the sea. There is direct access to the sea from here. The property has the benefit of being totally private, surrounded by nature, yet just a short way from the fashionable and lively atmosphere of the Piazzetta at Portofino harbour.
The interiors are spacious, comfortable and airy, painted mainly in white. The accommodation is on two levels, with the large living room on the main level opening to the terrace with shaded outdoor dining area and seating areas. There are 2 double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom, all with air conditioning, on this level, and a further double bedroom and single bedroom on the lower floor, without air conditioning. There are four bathrooms, two with baths, and two with showers. Amenities include a home cinema, television and DVD player. Domestic help in included in the rental for cleaning, as well as preparation of lunch and dinner. Help with luggage transportation from Portofino harbour can be arranged if clients arrive within the check-in time between 4 - 6 p.m.
