This property is a semi-detached townhouse, set in a stunning location, just 5 minutes drive from Bellagio. The quiet village of Limonta is 200 yards away and from here you can take a bus to Bellagio. A further 100 yards will bring you to the ferry stop from where you can use the public boats to explore the beautiful lakeside towns , villages, villas and gardens. We would still recommend car hire as the bus service stops in the evening, and the local boat service is spread out throughout the day (not an hourly service), but it would not be necessary to use the car all the time. There is a local trattoria just 7 minutes walk from the property and, Vassena , a 5 minute drive away , has two good restaurants.
The accommodation is on three floors and the interiors have been furnished simply, yet very comfortably, with several antique pieces. The terrace, with lake views, is ideal for relaxed outdoor dining during the summer months, and the cosy living room with fireplace is perfect for cooler evenings. There is garage parking below the property, then 52 steps up the hill to the front door. Amenities include TV, washing machine, ironing facilities and a ping pong table. Heating and electricity are payable locally according to consumption.
Bellagio offers a good variety of shops and restaurants, as well as being a departure point for boats and hydrofoil services. Other activities here include swimming at the Lido di Bellagio with an outdoor pool and private beach, open every day in the summer. There is spa centre, tennis courts and opportunities for horse riding, para gliding and fishing. Membership at the Bellagio Sporting Club can be arranged for guests during their stay. Cultural, gastronomic and walking tours with personalized itineraries can also be arranged at this property, either on a daily, or weekly basis.
