This apartment it situated right in the historical centre of the charming lakeside town of Bellagio, overlooking the main square and the ancient St. James Church. There are beautiful views of the lake the roof tops of the historical palaces of Bellagio, to the famous Villa Carlotta and the Grand Hotel Tremezzo in the distance. Because of its very central location, it is just a short walk from the apartment to shops, restaurants and cafes.
You can enjoy a guided tour of the gardens of Villa Serbelloni, owned by the Rockefeller Foundation, or take a longer walk to explore one of the hamlets around Bellagio. The ferry landing, offering transportation for both passengers and cars, is within 300 yards of the apartment. Ferries run until early evening and you can travel to other lakeside towns, such as Varenna, Menaggio, Lecco or Como. For car parking, there is a private garage just 500 metres from the property. Other activities available in Bellagio include swimming at the Lido di Bellagio, with swimming pool and private beach, a spa centre, tennis courts and opportunities for horse riding, windsurfing and fishing. Membership at the Bellagio Sporting Club can be arranged for guests during their stay. Cultural, gastronomic and walking tours with personalized itineraries can be arranged at this property, either on a daily, or weekly basis. A chef can also be arranged, or cooking lessons at your apartment. We are also able to arrange special menus and activities for children. Sample itineraries are available upon request.
The apartment is on the third floor of the building, up 50 steps. It is spacious and bright, with the original wooden floors and doors. The living room is furnished with antiques and there two balconies with views of the church and the lake. The bedrooms also open to balconies, one overlooking the church, and another over Bellagio. Amenities include satellite TV and DVD player. Central heating is available, payable locally according to consumption.
