With its wonderful views, historic town centre and charming cafes, restaurants and shops, it is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions of the Italian Lakes. Bellagio is also a departure point for ferry and hydrofoil services other villages and places of interest around the lake. Other activities available here include swimming at the Lido di Bellagio which has an outside swimming pool and private beach, and is open every day in the summer. There is also the Bellagio Sporting Club with swimming pool and garden, also open every day during summer. At Grand Hotel Serbelloni, there is an indoor swimming pool which can be used in autumn and winter by people outside the hotel. Bellagio also has a gym, spa centre, tennis courts and opportunities for horse riding, para gliding and fishing.
