For centuries this famous piazza has witnessed significant historical events and to the present day it retains a lively ambience.
It is a wonderful location with its perennial holiday atmosphere, its famous Florentine statues and historical buildings, including the Palazzo Vecchio, the Loggia dei Lanzi, the Uffizi gallery off to one side, and its huge central Neptune Fountain. The piazza is in the pedestrian zone of Florence, so the apartment can be accessed by taxi or, by leaving one’s car parked in one of the public garages or along the Arno river, and reaching it by foot
There are stairs leading to the apartment from the ground floor of the building, and there is also a lift. The rooms all lead off the large entrance hallway/sitting room and most have the original wood-panelled ceilings and marble floors. Central heating and air conditioning are included in the rental price, and also maid service. There is a baby cot, television (Italian channels) and a stereo with CD player. All the windows have double glazing.
