Situated literally, just off the Piazza del Duomo, it is hard to imagine a more awe-inspiring location. The magnificent green, white and pink marble edifice of the Duomo is almost within touching distance and guests will have a bird’s eye view over the piazza, wonderful on festival days such as Easter Sunday when the famous Scoppio del Carro, complete with firework display, takes place.
From its position, just on the outskirts of the pedestrian area, there is a constant hive of activity day and night, but we feel that any night time noise is more than made up for by the unique location. The three apartments we have here are all next to each other and share an entrance, making them a good choice also for a larger group. This is a fantastic base for wandering around the streets of Florence and exploring the main sights.
The apartments are on the fourth floor of the building, with lift, and are all simply, yet tastefully decorated and furnished, with terracotta tiled floors, white painted walls, exposed ceiling beams, brick arches over the windows, and exposed frescoes on some of the walls. All have washing machines, satellite TV and air conditioning.

The accommodation comprises one main room with living, dining and kitchen area, with washing machine, hob and microwave/grill. There is a small shower room off this room. A narrow spiral staircase leads up to a galleried area with a double queen-size bed (can also be made up as twin beds). There is a double sofa-bed in the living room.

One main room with living and dining area and kitchen with hob and microwave grill. There is a sofa-bed in the living area, and a small shower room off. The gallery bedroom with queen size/twin bed/s is accessed by a small spiral staircase. |
