This ancient palace, dating from the 16th century, is situated in the Piazza della Signoria, right in the heart of historic Florence, facing the Palazzo Vecchio and just a stone’s throw from the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio. The Piazza della Signoria is considered by many to be Florence’s most beautiful square, with its fountain and magnificent statues, including the replica of Michelangelo’s David. With its lively cafes and easy access by foot to the main sights of Florence, it offers a truly amazing and exciting base, for exploring this magical city.
The six apartments we have to offer here have been recently refurbished to a high standard, with comfortable furniture and many amenities, including air conditioning and central heating, satellite TV, DVD, CD player, high speed internet connection and hairdryers in the bathrooms. All the kitchens are equipped with fridge, microwave, dishwasher and filter coffee machines. A washing machine is available for shared use by all the apartments for a minimal fee. A complimentary welcome tray awaits each new arrival.
There is a main reception area, open during office hours, to assist guests and arrange any special requests, including tourist guides, restaurant reservations and babysitting. Daily maid service and linen change are available on request at additional cost. The apartments can be rented for a minimum of three nights. Palazzo Uguccioni also has 5 bedrooms available on a bed and breakfast basis, which can be booked for one or two nights, or longer durations.
