This luxurious villa is situated right above the exclusive beach area of Marina Piccola on the east coast, looking out to the famous Farglioni rocks, seen as a symbol of Capri, the world over. The beach is just a short walk from the villa and offers umbrella and sun lounger rentals, as well as a bar and restaurant. There is also a supermarket and restaurant just 200 metres from the property. Capri town, with its excellent selection of boutiques, bars and restaurants is just 15 minutes walk, or a 5 minute drive. Capri, for all its beauty, is not an easy island to get around and most properties are on steep slopes with endless steps. Il Tramonto by contrast is easily accessible by foot or by car. It also has a bus stop right outside the entrance gate. The villa has a parking area.
Due to its fabulous position right by the Bay of Marina Piccola, the terraces have one of the best views on the whole island of Capri and are wonderful for cocktail parties or a dinner for a special event. The property is divided into two separate houses, each with two bedrooms. Both have been recently renovated throughout to a high standard, although the main villa is more luxurious. The furnishings in both are elegant, the bathrooms are new and all the rooms have great sea views. There is also air conditioning, a stereo CD player, TV, a telephone (for incoming calls only) and internet access.
The spectacular, panoramic terrace is furnished with comfortable seating areas and several marble topped tables, seating 8 people each, for dining outdoors. There is also an outdoor dining area under a white linen tent, and a full bar and external kitchen (with stove top, barbecue, small fridge and dishwasher). The terrace is planted with high palm trees and flowers in pots, creating a magical private setting. The free-form swimming pool (approximately 7 x 3m) is surrounded by comfortable sun loungers, umbrellas and a further dining area. For larger groups, there is another property next door, sleeping 10, available on request.
