Villa Vista is a modern villa built of local stone, completely renovated in 2002. It sits in an isolated position on a rocky outcrop with wonderful views of the coast and the sea. It is ideal for those who want to enjoy a quiet and peaceful holiday, but at the same time to be near the many charming coastal towns, such as Amalfi and Ravello. All essential shops, restaurants, banks etc. are in Maiori, 4 kilometres away. The property is accessed by a private driveway, with electric security gates, and there is parking space for up to three cars.
The property is surrounded by pine and olive trees, and other Mediterranean vegetation, along gently terraced landscapes cascading down to the sea. A large seawater swimming pool (14 x 6m) is on a spacious terrace (60 m2) up 39 stairs from the house, and provides a sensation of being suspended above water. From here there are uninterrupted views over the sea and the whole arch of the Amalfi Coast down to Capo Conca. The terrace is furnished with white sun loungers and there is an outdoor shower and a cane pergola, providing shade. For those who prefer the sea, a 20 minute walk down steps hewn into the cliffside will bring you to a private smooth rock beach. Steep drops and unprotected terraces make this an unsuitable property for very young children.
The interiors of the villa are warm and inviting, and furnished with modern and comfortable furniture. The entrance opens to a living room with stone walls, white sofas and armchairs, satellite TV and CD player. Doors open from here to a terrace, furnished for relaxing and dining outdoors, surrounded by trees. The bedrooms all have individually controlled air conditioning and heating units (payable locally on consumption). This villa can be rented with Villa Gioiello, situated along the same private access road, within walking distance. Together the two properties will accommodate up to 20 guests.
