This charming villa is located in one of the most beautiful and panoramic areas along the Amalfi Coast, between the two historical towns of Amalfi and Ravello. It is a quiet and private position, and a great base for easy day trips to all the tourist points of interest of the Amalfi and Sorrento Coasts as well as Naples, Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, and the Islands of Capri and Ischia. Access to the property is by remote-controlled gate opening to the private driveway, where there is a garage for one car and outdoor parking for two cars. The nearest beach is Castiglione di Ravello, 1.5 kms away. This is a picturesque, half-moon shaped beach, nestled in a little bay surrounded by a high stretch of coast. To reach the beach, there is a public stairway of approximately 180 stone steps. During the summer months, there is a bar, and umbrella and sun lounger rental facilities. Other beaches that can be reached more comfortably, by car or by bus, are Atrani (1 km), Amalfi (2.5 km), Minori (5 km) and Maiori (6 km).
The large swimming pool (7 x 16m) is situated on the upper level of the villa and there are five different levels of large terraces and gardens facing the sea. From every angle, you can see the beautiful Lattari mountains with their lemon groves, which steeply plunge to the sea, the picturesque coastline, visible up to Capo D’Orso, and the Mediterranean sea. The terraces are open to the sun, or shaded by pergolas, trees or awnings and there are urns filled with colourful flowers. The spacious pool terrace is reached by an external staircase (45 steps) or an internal lift, and offers spectacular views. There is a covered outdoor dining area here with barbecue, a bar, deck chairs and two outdoor showers.
The interiors are luminous, welcoming and, tastefully and elegantly furnished in a bright Mediterranean style. The living room is furnished with large sofas and has a marble fireplace, lamps, paintings and ceramic vases. Two sets of French doors open to a terrace with great sea views. The kitchen also opens to the terrace and an outdoor dining area surrounded by pine trees and purple bougainvillea. The first floor can be accessed by a staircase or a lift. There is air conditioning throughout the villa and all the bedrooms open to terraces with sea views. Further amenities include satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, heating, pay telephone for incoming and outgoing calls and ADSL internet connection. Additional services which can be provided at extra charge include food delivery service, private chef, babysitter, baby cot and high chair.
