This very private villa is situated in a secluded part of Megalochori, yet close to the village amenities. It is ideal for families looking for a character-filled and comfortable base from which to explore the island, its archeological sites and beaches.
Built into the volcanic rock the building was once the village school. Now it is all in white, with beautiful arched interiors. Its private cobbled courtyard houses a swimming pool (5.6m x 6.7m) and a lovely sun terrace, perfect for relaxing outdoors on hot summer days.
The layout is typical of the old traditional Santorini houses, with the large farmhouse kitchen central to the ground floor, and the other rooms leading off it. An archway opens to the living room which has doors opening to the courtyard and pool. The floors throughout are traditional polished cement and are covered with rugs. The village of Megalochori is surrounded by vineyards and this theme is shown in the villa with unusual light fittings fashioned out of the basket-like vines. Amenities include satellite TV, DVD and I-pod. Minimum stay is 3 nights. Transfers from/to Santorini port or airport, as well as a rental car are included in the rental. A welcome hamper awaits you on arrival and our local concierge service is available during your stay to advise on what to do, where to eat, and any other information you may require. Meals can also be delivered for breakfasts, light lunches or dinners from a traditional Greek cafe in the main square. Internet access is available at our local office in the centre of Megalochori.

Large farmhouse-style kitchen with dining area and equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and coffee machine. Double wooden doors open to a single bedroom. Living room, opening to courtyard. Double doors from the living room to a comfortable double bedroom. Open-space bathroom with large shower and separate WC.
First Floor
Stairs lead up to a bedroom with twin beds, which can also be made up as a double bed on request. Due to the narrow access, this room is best suited for children over the age of 6 years.
