The Silence Nest is a beautiful, secluded house perched 400 metres above sea level, in a unique location, with extensive panoramic views over Lia Bay and the Aegean Sea. On a clear day, it is even possible to see the Cyclades archipelago including some of the furthest Islands: Amorgos and Santorini. The nearest beach is Lia Beach, 4 kms away.
The villa has been designed in a traditional Cycladic architectural style, simple, yet very charming. The exposed, white washed stone and rough surfaces on the walls, give the property an authentic island-home ambience. The main house consists of a large living room with fireplace, and open-plan kitchen with access to an outdoor dining area under a shaded pergola, from where the views can be enjoyed. The front terrace offers a special relaxation area with comfortable white cushions, where one can enjoy tranquility after a long day spent at the beach.
The master bedroom is on the ground floor, while two other bedrooms are on the mezzanine level, and two more in the Pigeon tower. The latter is particularly ideal for children, because of it size, narrow access and sense of coziness. There are also two comfortable studios, each with separate entrance from the garden. Amenities include satellite TV, DVD and CD machine, and a washing machine.
