This exceptional apartment is situated high above the port of Hydra overlooking the picturesque harbour and the sea. Access is via a steep climb up many steps (luggage can be transported by donkey), but upon arrival you are rewarded with a magnificent view, which must rate as one of the best on Hydra.

The living area opens to a lovely terrace with swimming pool (6 x 4m) surrounded by pots of geraniums, oleanders, honeysuckle, bougainvillea and plumbago. An outdoor dining table with sun umbrella, seating four and several sun loungers make this an idyllic spot to sit and dine or relax while enjoying the wonderful views. At night it is particularly magical with the lights in the town and harbour below.

The interiors are very light and spacious, decorated in white and tastefully furnished in an ethnic style. Amenities include central heating in the cooler months, television, a washing machine and an outdoor shower by the swimming pool. The owners would prefer no smoking inside the villa.

Entrance, with two steps leading up to a living room with two built-in day-beds. Bathroom with shower. Kitchen with oven, gas/electric hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. A few more steps lead up to a sitting/dining room with barbecue and bar, and doors opening to the terrace and pool. 2 bedrooms, which can be made up as double or twins, with sea views. Bathroom.

Maid service included 5 afternoons a week. Additional hours and services of a cook on request.
