VILLA PRINES

This very pretty stone-built house is situated in the quiet village of Prines, about 8 kms from the lively town of Rethymnon with its pretty Venetian harbour and numerous shops and tavernas. The traditional old village of Prines, dating from the 13th century, has a few little shops, a mini-market and some local cafes. There is an excellent taverna about 100 metres away from the house. The nearest beach, Koubes beach is approximately 4 kms away.

The house is surrounded by a private garden with olive trees, flowers and a swimming pool (32 sq.m.). There are several split-level terraces, including a dining terrace with large marble table and stone barbecue. The pool terrace is furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas and also has an outdoor shower.

The interiors are tasteful and romantic with exposed stone walls and decorative stone alcoves. The pretty furnishings include hand crocheted curtains and embroidered bedcovers on the wrought-iron beds. Amenities include air conditioning, heating, satellite television, DVD and radio/CD player.

Ground Floor
Entrance from the terrace into a spacious living room and kitchen area with corner fireplace. Kitchen equipment includes cooker, hob and fridge/freezer. Dining area. Double bedroom and twin bedroom, both with wrought iron beds, and opening to a shared terrace. Bathroom with bath/shower attachment, basin, WC and washing machine.

First Floor
An open-sided staircase leads from the living room to a sleeping gallery, under a beamed ceiling, with double bed, dressing room and en-suite shower room with WC.

Maid service is included 6 days a week, except Sundays.
