The Out of the Blue Capsis Elite Resort is a 5 star resort complex, consisting of two main hotel buildings and three private neighbourhoods, with a choice of accommodation ranging from hotel rooms, suites, bungalows, maisonettes and villas. It is located on a private peninsula 20 minutes drive from Heraklion, and its international airport, and with easy access to all the ancient sites for excursions, including the Minoan palace of Knossos, about 25 kms away. The property has been constructed as a Cretan village, stretched over the peninsula and surrounded by a Botanical Park of 167.000 sq. m, with beautiful views of the Aegean Sea. Within the extensive grounds, there are landscaped gardens, ponds, waterfalls, a small river, three beaches and a private zoo. Moreover, there are three private greenhouses and large cultivations where organically-grown fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers are produced and used in all the resort’s restaurants and bars. The traditional fishing village of Aghia Pelagia, with a variety of shops, tavernas and restaurants is a short walk from the resort. Activities offered within the resort, and close by, are numerous, and include all types of watersports, sailing, tennis, fitness training, spa treatments and golf.
The Black Pearl Residence is the most luxurious villa in the resort and is located in the same area as the exclusive OH! All-Suite Hotel. Right on the edge of the peninsula, it is totally private and guests will not feel as if they are in a resort hotel complex at all. A grand house of 510 sq. m., it has a private entrance and garden, and wonderful views of the Aegean Sea from all angles, as well as private sea access. Entrance is down a path, bordered by fountains and over a bridge, across a pond, into a majestic hallway, opening up to views of the sea on the other side. At this level are two temperature controlled swimming pools, a sitting room, living room, dining room and kitchen. The spacious and luxurious living room has a Schumann Piano, brown velvet furniture, beige curtains covered with Swarovski crystals and a fireplace. The indoor swimming pool, within the living room, is enhanced by fibre-optic lighting, and is 23 sq.m. in size.From the living room, there is direct access to the private deck and garden, and to the outdoor pool, 37 sq.m. in size, also overlooking the Aegean Sea. Next to the living room and dining room is a home cinema with 42 inch LCD screen. The “Golden” Master Bedroom is decorated with golden furniture from the Italian Boffi Collection and has brown curtains covered with Swarovski crystals. It opens to a private deck with Jacuzzi, and also has direct access to the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The luxurious en-suite bathroom overlooks the surrounding gardens and ancient Greek ruins. The second “Absolute White” Bedroom has twin beds and an in-room luxurious bathroom. The third bedroom, which can be used for a fifth guest, or for staff, is located at the other end of the villa and also has an en-suite marble bathroom. The villa also has a private fitness area with equipped gym, an exclusive hammam, a massage bed and a separate shower room. The wooden decks off the living room and master bedroom are furnished with sun beds and an outdoor dining area. There is a further deck directly on the edge of the sea, with private access from the villa. This is on two levels, one with a dining area and one with sun beds. These three wooden decks are ideal for relaxation, meditation, private training, beauty treatments, private dining, and cocktails for special occasions and parties, and can accommodate more than 80 guests.
Amenities include air conditioning, a safe, plasma satellite TV in all bedrooms and the living room, CD and DVD player, daily replenished mini-bar, nespresso machine and internet access. All the bedrooms feature custom-made mattresses, feather duvets and luxurious bed linen. The bathrooms have bathrobes, slippers, hairdryers, magnifying mirrors and Hermes toiletries. A welcome glass of champagne is offered on arrival and there is 24 hour room service available throughout your stay.
