This traditional farmhouse is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on the outskirts of the popular hilltop village of Xaghra. With its focal point the huge and ornately decorated Baroque church of our Lady of Victories, village life centres around the church square. The area offers some fascinating historical sites as well as close proximity to the beautiful beach of Ramla. The village also has two grottos, Ta' Xerri and Ta' Ninu, with stalactites and stalagmites,,both beneath private houses but open to the public. In addition, there is a working windmill and a toy museum, all within 10 – 15 minutes walk of the property. Xaghra is most famous for its prehistoric sites, the temples of Ggantija,, the Neolithic site of Santa Verna and Calypso's cave, of mythical fame, all close to t he village.
The large living room has a fireplace, cable TV and DVD player, and opens via an archway to the dining room/kitchen, which opens to the swimming pool. terrace. There is one twin bedroom at ground floor level. A stone staircase leads to the first floor, where there is three more bedrooms and a terrace overlooking the pool terrace. A spiral staircase leads up to the second floor with master bedroom also with a terrace, furnished with wrought iron table and chairs.
The pool terrace is furnished with sunloungers and there is an outdoor dining area with stone barbecue.
