This villa is situated on the outskirts of the quaint village of Sannat, near Xlendi Bay in southern Gozo. The village is known for its traditional lace making and also for its ornate carved stone balconies. Centred around its 18th century church, it is a quiet village with a bank, grocer, band club and pizzeria in the main square. There are three restaurants within a three minute walk of the villa, as well as a spa. For a larger choice of restaurants and shops, the main town of Victoria is just a ten minute drive away. The area is also known for its scenic walks along the cliffs, a nature trail and summertime village fiestas.
Djar Ta Menzja is one of three houses next to each other, built around 10 years ago. Entrance to the house is through and archway with wrought iron gates into a courtyard, furnished for dining and relaxing outdoors, and with a swimming pool just outside the house.
The accommodation is on two levels with the living area and one bedroom at ground floor level. The living room, with open fireplace, cable TV and DVD player, opens via three sets of French doors to the terrace and pool area. An open, winding wrought iron staircase leads to the first floor, which has a traditional sofa on the landing, and two further bedrooms.
