The recently refurbished interiors were designed to a very high standard by Linda Barker, of the TV series, Changing Rooms, and offer exceptionally spacious accommodation (355m2). The quality furnishings are a mixture of contemporary and Provençal with many of the original features of the house incorporated, and some lovely period additions, including chandeliers, mirrors and antique furniture. The colour scheme is all in soothing neutral colours. The six double bedrooms are all of the same standard and have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Four of the bedrooms have mezzanine levels which can be used to sleep extra children.
The accommodation is built around an attractive arched courtyard with a heated swimming pool, with the arches leading to a wooden decked sun lounge. The living areas open to the terraces and swimming pool. The open plan salon features a huge open fire, a large living and dining area and a modern well equipped kitchen. There are also two other comfortable lounge areas for relaxation and television viewing. The entrance courtyard has a barbecue and is a wonderful area for ‘al fresco dining ‘as it also conveniently close to the kitchen. Within the large grounds (24,300m2) there is plenty of space for parking, and both lawned and wooded areas. Closer to the house there is a feature pond and a pathway leading to an outdoor sunset lounge which overlooks the Verne valley and is the perfect place for enjoying an evening drink. The pool and the pond are both fitted with alarms.
