Villa les Roures is situated in a tranquil, wooded area enjoying great views out over Sophia Antipolis and the Parc de Valmasque in the direction of Antibes. The beaches of Antibes and Cannes are just 15 minutes away by car and the picturesque village of Valbonne is 5 minutes. The house borders a private domaine and has access to its tennis facilities and also to the high quality golf course of Golf d’Opio Valbonne which is just a one minute drive down the hill. The village of Valbonne has a large number of restaurants and bars and has a superb market each Friday, as well as a number of other fêtes and festivals throughout the year.
The house is surrounded by a garden of one acre with a heated, fenced swimming pool (10 x 5m). A large, covered terrace runs the whole way along the front of the house with ample room for outside dining, and there is a charcoal-fired Weber barbecue. Both the terrace area and the pool have enviable views out over the valley down to the ocean, and there are also swings and a table tennis table, making Les Roures a very child-friendly environment.
The large open-plan living/ dining room on the ground floor has a flat-screen TV with its own Sky box. There is another sitting room in a children’s wing, on the ground floor, also with its own TV and Sky box. The villa has wi-fi internet access. Four of the five bedrooms are on the ground floor, including two bedrooms in the children’s wing, while the very large master bedroom is on the first floor with wonderful sea views. Access to the property is by electronically operated gates and the parking space in the drive can comfortably take six cars.
