This very attractive white-washed villa with royal-blue doors and shutters, sits in a wonderful position on a clifftop overlooking the sea at Bidart, 5 miles from the centre of Biarritz. Its location between Biarritz and St Jean de Luz is ideal for exploring the coastline here with its impressive sandy beaches stretching for miles on end. Bidart is a charming and tranquil resort, with several restaurants and shops, and a good example of the typically Basque architecture of the area, its distinctive buildings featuring white facades, red shutters, colombage timbers and red tiled roofs. The region offers so much in the way of activities, including surfing, numerous golf courses, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking or relaxing in one of the many thalassotherapy spas for which the area is renowned.
The house faces south-west and is surrounded by a small garden. The front terrace is furnished for dining outdoors while enjoying the magnificent ocean views. At the rear of the house is a second terrace and also an off-street parking area. There are two beaches accessible from the property by foot, La plage du Centre and La Plage d'Erretegia. Both are accessed by a very pretty footpath and steps, about 5 minutes to go down and about 10 minutes to walk back up.
Entrance is into a very tastefully furnished open-plan living room/dining room and kitchen, with polished wooden floors and white painted walls.
