Villa Bleu Mer is on the island of Brac, on Osibova Bay, just 1.3 km from the village of Milna. Newly built, and directly overlooking the sea, with balconies on every level, the villa has wonderful views, and the crystal-clear, turquoise water is just steps away. Pine woods form a tranquil backdrop. In the garden, steps lead to a shaded patio, with lounge chairs, hammock and hanging chair, and on to the seaside swimming platform, with ladder. There is an outdoor stone oven/barbecue and an outdoor dining table seating at least six, plus an outdoor shower. In addition, the villa’s rooftop terrace provides another spot to enjoy the sun, and views of the sea and the passing sailing boats – and a place perhaps to sleep out under the stars.
The interior of the villa has been designed and furnished for a comfortable and relaxing lifestyle. The ground floor has an open-plan living area, with a log fireplace and a dining area seating eight or more. The kitchen is equipped with all necessities: dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, oven, stove, espresso machine, and so on. There is also a double bedroom on this floor, and a bathroom with shower. Extra-large sliding doors completely open to the wrap-around terrace, overlooking the sea and pine forest – perfect for dining al fresco. The first floor has another living area with a fireplace and access to a terrace, plus a library, also with a terrace. The two remaining bedrooms are on this floor: one with a double bed, and one with twin beds. The shared bathroom has a shower. A staircase leads up to the roof terrace, with stunning views of the bay, sea and the island of Hvar; perfect for sunbathing, it is equipped with speakers for music, and lighting for the evening hours. A host of other features are included to help you get the most from your stay at Villa Bleu Mer, such binoculars and a telescope for boat- and stargazing, masks and snorkels, fishing gear and water-shoes and a mooring for a boat. There is a flat-screen satellite TV, and under-floor heating for colder seasons.
The oldest church (13th-century) on the island is located in Osibova Bay, where local villagers make a traditional pilgrimage. Milna has a vegetable and fruit market, a bakery and wine shop. High-quality olive oil comes from the surrounding olive groves. Milna harbour comes alive in the spring and summer with yachts from all over the world. You can buy fresh fish directly off the fishing boats in the morning. Open-air cafés line the harbour and the local restaurants serve Dalmatian specialities, including Brac lamb, local grilled fish and 'peka' dishes made in traditional stone ovens. Scuba diving can be arranged at Milna, and other activities, such as rafting trips, parasailing and waterskiing, are available in Supetar or Bol.
