Situated at the south-east end of the Dalmatian coast, this imposing white stone villa, sits in a superb position within large private grounds, facing the medieval city of Dubrovnik and the island of Lokrum. The historic centre of Dubrovnik is within easy walking distance of the villa (less than 1 kilometre away) and is a delight to explore, with its lively narrow streets, its museums, churches, mansions, restaurants, theatre and live music.
Surrounded by lush, colourful gardens, with palms and cypress trees, and a swimming pool, the grounds extend down to a rocky beach where there is a private pier for a boat. With its stunning backdrop of the sea and the city walls of Dubrovnik, the garden is perfect for receptions and special events, such as weddings and anniversaries. A Palm Garden at the house level has a seating capacity of 60 – 80 guests or up to 150 guests for standing receptions and cocktail parties. The Oval Terrace, just in front of the main salon can seat 20 – 30 guests, or up to 50 guests standing.
Recently renovated, the accommodation is on three floors with the living areas on the ground floor and, the bedrooms on the first and second floors. All five bedrooms have a marble en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, and magnificent views of the Adriatic or the gardens. All are equipped with satellite TV, safe, mini-bar, and individual air conditioning. Further amenities, include internet access and a fully equipped media room with a large film and music collection. Guests will be greeted with a Dalmatian welcome drink upon arrival and breakfast each morning is included in the price. Guests can also use the facilities of the nearby Grand Villa Argentina, including a gourmet restaurant, an Energy Clinic Wellness Centre, hairdresser and ticket agency.
