Ski Lodge Boréale shares the same prime location as its neighbour, Aurore. Situated in the exclusive Brames enclave, it overlooks Méribel’s highest peak, Mont Vallon. The south-westerly aspect of the chalet gives it a sunny air with fabulous views up the valley. It is accessed by a private road with driveway and electronic barrier. The property can be booked on its own, or with its adjoining neighbour Aurore, for larger groups of up to 20 people.
One of its main attractions of this property is the fabulous heated swimming pool outside, (shared with Ski Lodge Aurore), and the chalet’s hot tub. Situated on a large south-facing terrace, the pool is kept warm, and it is a magical spot after a day on the slopes. Loved by adults and children alike, it comes with an entertaining selection of pool toys. In the evenings there are not many locations that can beat it for a barbecue prepared by the in-house chef, washed down with a glass or two of chilled champagne.
The chalet sleeps up to ten guests in five double and twin bedrooms, each with its own balcony, en-suite bathroom, telephone and plasma screen with DVD. An additional bunk room for a further two guests is available on request. Traditional touches blend well with a more contemporary look, the chalet’s seasoned timbers and exposed stone walls combining to create an exclusive Alpine feel. The elegant drawing room is generously proportioned, and overlooked by a galleried study with telephone, fax and internet facilities. This peaceful area is perfect for quiet reading or keeping up to date with events while you are away. There is also a massage room to soothe aching muscles after skiing. Each bedroom has feather pillows and duvets, personal bathrobes and slippers, a hairdryer, and soaps, bubble baths and shampoos in the bathrooms. As a family chalet, it offers a large selection of books, toys, games and films. Further amenities include a ski room with heated boot racks, a well-stocked wine cellar, fresh flowers and daily newspapers. A chauffeured 4 x 4 is provided for getting about.

For bookings throughout the ski season, there is a staff of six, including a chef, chauffeur and maids. During peak periods in the ski season, a complimentary au pair is provided making it ideal for family groups. For summer bookings, staff is on request. |
