ELEPHANT BLANC

The Eléphant Blanc is all about comfort and location. Sleeping up to ten guests, it is equipped to provide skiers with every luxury and is one of the most sought after chalets in the Alps. With the blue Solaise piste literally on the doorstep and the nursery slopes conveniently close by, guests have direct access to Val d’Isère’s immense ski area. The centre of town is only a three minute drive away, making Eléphant Blanc easily accessible yet, at the same time, immensely private.

The chalet has a sophisticated, yet very relaxed feel. The two large south and west facing balconies look across to the Face de Bellevarde with impressive picture windows flooding the chalet with warmth and light. After a day on the slopes, ski back to the chalet for a well deserved massage, or lounge in the sauna or steam room before heading into town to explore the many bars and shops.

With its roaring log fire, the drawing room is the chalet’s main focus, and the galleried TV snug is the perfect hideaway. Equipment includes digital satellite television with DVD and video, and Playstation II, as well as a great collection of toys, games, sledges, CDs, videos and DVDs. The study area has telephone, fax and computer with internet access. Each of the five en-suite double and twin bedrooms has been individually designed using a selection of beautiful fabrics, antique furnishings and works of art. Each bedroom has feather pillows and duvets, personal bathrobes and slippers, a hairdryer, and soaps, bubble baths and shampoos in the bathrooms. There are also direct dial telephones and internet access in every bedroom. Further amenities include a ski room with heated boot racks, a well-stocked wine cellar, fresh flowers and daily newspapers. A chauffeured 4 x 4 is provided for getting about.

First Floor
Large drawing room and dining room opening to south and west facing balconies. Kitchen.

Second Floor
Galleried TV room/study. Bedroom 5 (twin or super-king size bed) with en-suite bathroom and shower.

Bedrooms 3 and 4 are most suitable for cots.

For bookings throughout the ski season, there is a staff of five, including a chef, chauffeur and maids. During peak periods in the ski season, a complimentary au pair is provided, making it ideal for family groups. For summer bookings, staff is on request.

Ski-in, ski-out on the blue Solaise piste, giving excellent access to the village nursery slopes and the main lift hub. The centre of town is just a 3 minute drive away.
